Dunajská Streda
Know your holiday town! Besides the traditional attractions – the thermal resort Thermalpark and the brand new wellness centre – there are also several interesting historical sites which are really worth of seeing. To these belong the Roman Catholic Church of the Virgin Mary’s Ascension from the 15th century, synagogue from the 19th century and the Biely and Žltý kaštieľ (The White and The Yellow Manor) in Dunajská Streda. To the most significant sights in the surroundings belong the water-mill Tomášikovo (11 km far from the town), water-mill Dunajský Klatov (7 km) and the House of folk living Veľké Úľany (11 km).

Gabčíkovo dam
Only 18 km far from the town, there is the Slovak largest hydro-electric plant. You can not only admire this unique construction, but also try out various water sports or watch the professionals by training.

Voyage on the Danube
Drive 20 km to the docks and then exchange four wheels for a beautiful sight-seeing ship. Really extraordinary experience!

Shopping fever in Győr
Cross the border to the neighbour Hungary and visit the well-known markets! You can do shopping into unconsciousness – every Wednesday and Saturday. Don't forget to taste local specialities! It’s a real gastronomic experience. After exhausting day, it's the right time to visit local aquapark. You'll find all these attractions only 35 km far from your apartment.

Wine from Šamorín
Do you prefer cultivated entertainment and first-quality carmine red wine? You have a perfect opportunity to experience the original wine tasting in a wine-cellar – right by the local vintner! Your destination is called Šambaza and you find it only 25 km far from your accommodation.

Bratislava
The capital city is just at a stone’s throw from here. Bratislava Castle, Michael’s Gate (Michalská brána), historical centre, the Danube and shopping centres. The Slovak metropolis has much to offer.

Tempting hot water
If you favour thermal resorts, you will certainly feel like in heaven. Besides the Thermalpark in Dunajská Streda, there are other thermal resorts in Veľký Meder, Podhájska and Štúrovo. And don't forget to visit the swimming pool Topoľníky which can’t be left out.

Middle Age live
History lovers will be satisfied as well. By foot or by car, you can reach nearby castles where history survives up to this day - in the third millennium as well. The most significant sites are the Žltý kaštieľ (Yellow manor) in Dunajská Streda, Devín ruins, Bratislava Castle, manor house in Čakany and early-baroque monastery in Bác. If you are willing to travel a little further, visit Smolenice Castle, castle Modrý kameň (Blue Stone) and castle Červený kameň (Red Stone) in Trnava District.
